Troy Mini Maker Faire 2016 Was a Blast!

A big, big thank you to everyone who turned out for the 2016 edition of the Troy Mini Maker Faire! More than 8,000 people came by to see exhibits from our fabulous Makers, witness the exciting Power Tool Drag Races, and ooh and ahh over the fantastical vehicles entered in the Chamberlain Inventors’ Challenge. Denizens of our sister event, The Enchanted City, could be spotted throughout the day checking out the contraptions and displays on Broadway and in the Tech Valley Center of Gravity.

WalkerThe day could not have happened without the hard work of our volunteers and organizers, including Jayme Wood, Susan Dunckel, Tom Tongue, Becky Martin, Mick Cipolla, Bryce Miller, Corey Aldrich, and many, many more. We appreciate all your help and support!

If you were there and have photos or videos of the event, please post or share them on the Troy Mini Maker Faire Facebook page! Thanks especially to our friend Dan Schneiderman from the Rochester Mini Maker Faire for sharing his photos on their Facebook page.

We hope you enjoyed the day, and look forward to seeing you again!
